To support our ongoing sustainability efforts, we have recently introduced Crownless Pineapples, resulting in a 50% increase in transport efficiency and a reduction in waste and packaging. Approximately 25%-50% of the removed crowns are suitable for replanting in the pineapple fields, contributing to agricultural sustainability. Any unsuitable crowns are shredded and provided to local farmers as animal feed, promoting a circular economy. By maximising pineapple usage, we are embracing a zero-waste philosophy that benefits all stakeholders in the supply chain. Our sustainability focus extends beyond pineapples, as we are actively seeking similar strategies for other produce to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across all our operations. Collaborating with partners, customers, and the community, we are collectively progressing towards a greener, more sustainable future.
